I’m A Stranger Here Myself

More than just a cabaret concert, I’m A Stranger Here Myself is a story that highlights two extraordinary decades in German history – the Twenties and Thirties – and the effect on its people and culture.

Stranger evokes the music of that time, the extravagant and exotic Germany of the Twenties and the great decadent metropolis of Berlin. Above all it is a poignant journey, that of ingenue Marta, a Cabaret girl newly arrived in Berlin, through the momentous events of two of the most extraordinary decades in world history.

Music will feature the supreme qualities of Kurt Weill, Bertolt Brecht, Marlene Dietrich and Friedrich Hollaender. Starring Antonia Schnauber (singer) Mark Troop (piano)
